I guess I really should not try to read this board while eating my lunch.

I had a friend blow chunks in my brand new car on new years. I took it to have it worked on at the local car detailer. They sprayed it with lysol and got it just wet enough to blow off with an air hose. It worked really well. You can probably do the same thing with the mobo, just make sure it is completely dry before you fire it up.

I would think that the acids and such from a dogs digestive system would not be good to micro-electronic parts.

Also remember, dogs lick themselves! Happy computing!

I recovered pc's and monitors that were in a flood (oil, sewage, everything else) and i just gave them all a nice bath... every mobo that i cleaned worked fine (so did everything else for the most part)

So, the answer is, give it a bath...

did you shoot the dog?? ;-))
if it was on at the time its probably not recoverable...
if not wash in fresh water , stubborn bits can be cleaned with metho.. it wont hurt the soldermask which by the way should have saved the pcb tracks ;-)) ten let it dry thouroughly!!!! 2-3 days then blow it with an air gun....
    then pray !!! ;-))
but if it was powered at the time too many things could have shorted ;-((

    Cool

Use electronics wash or electronic friendly degreaser. This is alcohol based with flourine oxides as a main ingrediant. Stinks like hell, very nasty stuff, but made to do exactly what you want. About $10 a can at any electronics store.
