    Motherboard Mounting

I've mounted my ITX and I was wondering if I may have a problem.
The board is mounted to dark plexiglass with a 1/2 inch spacer for air circulation.
I don't guess the Plexi will cause a heat problem?

    No.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

No, but plexi, and most "plastics" can build up static AND attract quite a bit of dirt/dust, both of which can be bad for your electronics. The only other problem COULD be that of grounding, since quite often the chassis is a common grounding point for the various parts of the board (each standoff is a ground point, which may or may not be critical to your board, depending on the design). I haven't really looked closely at my mini-itx board yet to see if this is the case, but in SOME boards (for other electronics) it is important to use all your mounting screws on a metal chassis for proper grounding.

Just something to consider. If nothing else you can run a cable to each screw/standoff if it turns out to be necessary.
