    Yes, that is for the imac dvd rom. I found that picture on a Japanese website. The guy there makes custom pc and that is one of his projects. I tried looking for that fujitsu part number but I could not find anything.
    Thanks for the help PTcruiser, i am just trying to find a cheaper adapter. $30 dollars + shipping is a little expensive for me.

    sorry for the super lame post, but could someone (in 1 post) tell me what the 2 part numbers would be (both dvd drive and adaptor) to just make it work?

    Paying ~70 total isn't that bad of a deal to me, since I'm redoing everything the right way this time and want it done correctly in 1 shot.

    I've read through this thread, but i find it to have a bit of conflicting info... not sure which adaptor works w/what drive.
