    aren't these limitations on IDE cable length? Can one buy a 10' cable? If so, where?

    Does anyone know of a slim slot DVD BESIDES the imac one? it's not the standard laptop size and it won't fit in my case because of it. I've looked everywhere =\ I'm just trying not to have to buy a DVD/CDR just to get it in laptop size.
