Multiple Displays

In my carpc I have a Radeon9550 video card. I want to use the VGA for the touch screen and the S-Video for a roof mounted flip down monitor only for displaying video. I am having trouble getting both displays on at the same time. I can only manage to have one monitor displaying anything at a time. Using XP's display properties it will not let me extend the desktop onto my roof monitor. Using the Catalyst software that came with the card, I can swap the display on the monitors but not display on both at the same time. What am I doing wrong?

What version of catalyst are you using. I notice that sometimes catalyst will act funky and only allow me to clone screen 1, and sometimes it will swap the displays and stick the desktop on display 2 and put only the background on display 1. I have to sit there and keep hitting detect screen and then hit swap. I am using a 1250 Xpress which is built into my MoBo. Also, what operating system are you using, i notice that alot of people are having the issue you have when on Vista.

I am on XP and I have downloaded the newest version of catalyst and still no success.

What is the onboard graphics chip? It may be the graphics card cannot do dual display.... can it do one or the other? If so you may consider using the onboard VGA for the headunit screen, and the Radeon for the rear. Have you tried using the windows configuration to try to enable the feature?
