damn, release pushed back a week, slow shipping
estimate 5th oct
With the audio confirmed, I'm glad I held out for this one. I actually stumbled across a site a few days ago selling the D201GLY2TA which I was initially going to use but it became imposable to find.
The IDE will make it easy to toss an old optical drive in too.
Nice to have information, but the wait continues.
I did get my monitor shipped the other day....... the screen was shattered but it was the wrong size anyway.![]()

This is the one so glad I held off the single core, now just need to find one for preorder in the UK.
Edit: Seems to be more for sale type results using the BOXD945GCLF2 reference rather than the shortened oneComing in at $93 ish.
Wow! Gb LAN! Finally a worthwhile upgrade to the home server!
Can't wait![]()
mate i email http://www.itx-warehouse.co.uk/ the other day to see if they were going to stock it reply from them is below
Hello Paul,
We will be stocking this board, but it is not yet available from Intel.
As soon as we have a confirmed allocation date, we will list the board on our website and start taking back orders.
Please keep checking our website for availability.
Regards,
Adrian.

I was wondering if you had any intention on selling the intel board Intel BOXD945GCLF2
Basically it’s the duel core version of the Intel BOXD945GCLF using the atom 330 in place of the 220. Last I heard it was supposed to be for sale during late august early September 2008. Yet nowhere seems to be selling it in the uk as far as I can see
Many thanks in advance
Paul Garner
hopefully shouldnt be too long, and itll give me a chance to get togeather the rest of my build by mid sept
just followed your advice using the full title in google, under shopping found this
http://www.importmarket.co.uk/Single...xd945gclf2.htm
£60 exc shipping a £17 for royal mail or £22 for fed ex then VAT on top of all that so around £100. might just wait to what itx ends up wanting for it at $90 it should be around £50
Everything is much more expensive in the UK isn't it...
I still remember buying my D201GLY in Hong Kong while I was on holiday for less than £30 last year... and it is still selling for £60 in the UK!
having the D201GLY and being quite happy with it, except
1. no s3 standby
2. weak graphics
3. slow bios post time
it this better with this board?
and how do i plug power with it - still 20 pin plus 4 pin dc connectors?
and what energy consumption is it having (>30 watts idle)
yeah and i wanted to leave the moniter to last, get the thing working in the house. while getting thecar ready
