    Answer from Intel:

    Hello Miha,

Thank you for contacting Intel(R) Customer Support.

As far we understand, your 4 pin Composite TV works when it is plugged in directly to the motherboard, however, it is not recognized if you use a RCA adapter. Bear in mind that adaptors are not supported.

Unfortunately, we cannot garantee full compatibility with all this kind of devices offered in the market.

We recommend contacting your system manufacturer or system vendor for information on the TV-out capabilities of your system. Also, we do not recommend the use of any type of converters. The use of converters, adapters, dongles, etc. will prevent the TV-out feature from working correctly.

    Sincerely,
    Andrew S.

I have tested 4 pin s-video connector and found it working. The ony issue there is that it can not be configured to show something different from what is on VGA output (at least I could not figure out). So the idea of using CVBS or S-Video for secondary monitor may not be feasible with this board.

I also wrote to them about which pin to use for CVBS and this is what they replied:
Hello, Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support. The issue you are experiencing is under investigation. Thus, we will contact you as soon as our research department has further information on this case. Important note: Should you need further assistance from us regarding your inquiry, we would highly appreciate if you could simply reply to this email of ours, instead of sending a brand new email, unless it is a different issue/inquiry. Thus, we will be avoiding duplicate incoming emails, and we will not lose track of the email thread.

Can you tell more about this cable? Was it 4 pin on both ends, or it was 4 pin on one end and S-video on other?

Standard S-Video cable, 4 Pins on both sides, connected to a CRT TV. To connect to my car LCD monitor, I need CVBS out and for that Intel suppport told to wait. Still is is not extended desktop, same video on VGA and S-Video output. So hopes of doing different videos using this board look slim to me.

Also make sure you touch the metal of the case first to discharge any static.

Finally try reseting the BIOS see the Intel site for that.

Can anyone help, I am new and have put together my carpc for a month now.. the problem is I can't get any power to turn on the Mobo, at first i thought that it was a mobo issue so i got a new one sent to me and reconnected it and still no power. I am using the intel atom 330 dual core mobo and the m2-atx dc-dc. i am sure that it is all connected properly, but not sure why it is not turning on. the green light turns on when connected but the cpu fan does not spin .. i also have the p4-p4 cable connected to the mobo as well. i am getting all 12v from the m2..

any help on toubleshooting or suggestions.

how do you short out the power switch?

Hi if you check earlier in this thread you will find that someone else had this problem. Use the the "on" pins to start the Mobo up. Enter the BIOS and set it to startup on power on (Can't remember which BIOS setting exactly but go through the thread and you should find it.)

Shorting out the power switch. Look at the chart that came with the MoBo. There are two pins marked power. If you don't have a suitable connector linked to to a switch you can just short them out with a small metal object like a screw driver (At your own risk. There are no dangerous voltages present but you might short out the wrong pins and damage the board. Also make sure you earth yourself first to reduce risk of static damage.)

Shorten the pins marked with red colors. Read manual before doing it.

REgarding S-video: On board S-video has 7 pin connector. IF you will use 7 pin adapter it won´t work. When using 4 pin bidirectional adapter works pine.

Whit this card I had right away image. As soon as system is booting ,headrest monitors are receiving a signal.

i would assume you just used a RCA splitter for the headrest monitors? thats what i am planning on doing....how is the quality? what headrest monitor do you use...i could use a recommendation with all dozen of monitors they have on ebay....

    thx
