anything under an amp should be ok as long as you drive your car every couple of days... i have had my laptop running on standby and i took roughly 0.2 amps the car actually took more than that in standby..0.4 amps....so 0.6 total....
Hi IT09, I'm not sure how new to PCs you are but you have got a memory stick on the M.B. and not just a "i have 1gb mem card connected to board"? I.E. Flash card?
You must have RAM in there.
Cheers
Tony

Im sorry i ment to say I have 1gb of ram on the board, is this to much for this board, it said it is capable of up to 2gb.
could this be the reason i am getting the NO INPUT SIGNAL on my monitor
No mine is running 2gb no problem but it is worth checking on the Intel website to ensure that the RAM has been tested with this Mobo. Also try removing power and data cables to both CD and HDD and also remove any pci cards (Ensure main power is switched off first). Check the RAM is properly seated (It can only go one way around and it should "Clunk" into place at each end. Now see if it boots

Beyond that I am stumped.
I just purchased a new 1gb mem stick of ram,(kingston) and switched it out with the previous one i had, still No Video Input
Tricky! The fan starts and the green light comes "on" and you have the 4 way Intel CPU power lead plugged in?

is this what we are looking for?
Mine did something similar early on.
Do you have a hard drive attached? If so is the hard drive not spinning up?
I got frustrated with it and worked on my monitor install for a few days. When I got back to the MOBO it worked fine. Pull the battery out and leave it for a day.
If the hard drive is spinning up and it could be switched to to the S Video output. I had this happen at some point but I had been using both the s video and the VGA output.
Has ANYONE else had these problems..... if so any solutions?
