email sent now heres a question: can i make the monitors only receive and input signal when i am in video mode in roadrunner?...
I dived into the 'fastboot' option last night to find out more.
It doeos a few things to do with switching video modes during post, killing (or customizing) the splash screen image/video (yes, video!), and speeding up Windows Driver loadup. No 'disable post' here either unfortunately.
Out of curiosity - those of you seeking faster boot times, are you using TinyXP or have you cut down your own Windows build using nLite?
I've poked through some Forums on TinyXP in particular and have read a few reports on how fast people can get Windows to boot. nLite lets you do the same with your legit version of Windows, as well as letting you pre-integrate Service Packs, Patches and any additional drivers you may want.

I´m using tiny xp and sistem boots really fast. And everything works. No service pack ****. Also has lots of diagnostic tools integrated. Stable from the day I instaled them.

sent an email and they responded, unfortunatly, they didn't (or chose not to) understand.
Here's is their response:
Hello Eric,
Thank you for contacting Intel Technical Support.
We understand you are having questions regarding the Intel(R) Desktop Board D945GCLF2.
In order to obtain a version of the Intel(R) Embedded Graphic Driver for this motherboard you will need to call an Intel Authorized Distributor and contact a Field Application Engineer (FAE).
Here's what i wrote:
HI.
I have a D945GCLF2 motherboard and would very much like to be able to extend the windows desktop to the S-Video output instead of it just being a clone of the VGA output. Speculation is the solution would be "support for the 945GC chipset be added to the IEGD driver"
Thanks
Eric
I don't know how clearer i could have been.
On the contrary, i think that is an excellent answer, but it looks to fob the responsibility off to a distributor. I have access to a distributor here in Australia. I'll give it a try.

i have CF installed .
i have a problem with my HQCT-i
I have install it in my carpc and i have a permanent echo.
my connections are correct.
I try it with my Home PC and it work very well!!!!
I do not understand why?
thank you
Good. This is the rest of their response, i didn't think it was important but maybe it is:
You can contact your place of purchase or the closest Intel Authorized Distributors at the following URL:

I tested all pins in the 7-pin connector and I did not find any composite video output, as advertised by Intel (????!!!!).
The solution is to use a standard 4-pin S-video to RCA cable. I tried some comercial ones and either I got a black-and-white picture or a very blurred colour.
Finally I got the best results by making my own cable as shown in the image
