Yep, we're all working to that same goal - extended desktop to S-Video. But sorry, still no word from my sources. However, I received an update yesterday so it is still progressing.

That is cloned output. Same as what is coming out of the VGA Connector. What I am talking of is Extended desktop using these 2 connectors on board.

hi there, just got my board today.
tried installing it and at first boot noticed a wierd problem.
it doesn't recognize my apple usb keyboard. its like its not even plugged in.
i check the keyboard with other pcs and it is definitely working. so until i get another keyboard, i can't say if it is the keyboard or the usb plugs on the mobo.
any comments?
just think its odd though. never had this problem before.
btw i also updated the latest bios using the recovery method. still no joy. but it proves the usb works i suppose

This board has USB problems. I found a number of issues with various devices either not working for not being recognised. Once I upgraded the bios to the latest version everything was sorted out.

After you upgraded from the recovery method, did you clear your cmos?
umm, don't think i did actually.
do you do it via the jumper? how do you actually do that?
the quick ref guide has 3 settings for the jumper. normal, recovery and maintenance.
I don't have a great deal of experience where is comes to bios, so I played it safe by using the windows executable method and left it at that. Everything works well now.

Marc5, with the board off, move the bios jumper to the other two pins, (there are 3 total), leave it there for 5 secs, move it back, and your are done.
so this is still the best out there? nothing new coming out?
Just got this board on Wednesday. I am upgrading from a MII12000.
I am installing it in the opus case with the 120w power source. At first I could not boot from either my slimline DVD drive or USB drives. So I dug up an old dvd drive from an atx case and plugged that in. Decided to give TinyXP a try since my last install was full XP and so far everything went well except for the new BIOS install. I tried the windows exe BIOS install and got a CMOS error. I think I will try a CD iso image BIOS install next tonight.
The board seems very quick and responsive though so far compared to my old MII12000. Will update once all my installs are done and this thing is back in the car.
