Maybe it's not in the bios but the OS and latest drivers.
Where did you obtain the latest drivers? Intel?
I think i actually went to the website and it reported back to me that i had the latest drivers.
I now have a strong feeling it's because you have Win7 - which tells me i can play around with the software to get this modification accomplished (as trader said earlier - i can force it).
Back to the registry....
On another note Kapone - i was a little bummed out to find that my spare power supply is a M1-ATX not M2... i was hoping to use the 12v railing for my monitor but no sweat.
I also was checking the volts with my Fluke Multimeter (sweet). I noticed that my USB dvd rom would not start up with any of the red wires (4.9v to be exact). My Fluke is not capable of reading amps (bummer) so i'm wondering if the DVDROM is more demanding than the USB Hubs?
I then checked other wires on the harness and one in particular came out to 5v exactly - the purple wire. I connected my DVDROM to it and - voila!! it works.
I will keep you posted on my results (and my svideo situation).
