The router IS the adapter. The PC's onboard gigabit is hard wired to the router using one of the router's ports. The router's "radio" works backwards. It is not used to connect TO the router, but is used to connect the router TO an access point, which is my home network (or could be any open AP). That's what the DD-WRT firmware allows, among other things.

i was thinking of getting a pico-psu90, but that might not work very well with this board?
m2-atx seems ok i guess, but it needs the extra cable

    Hey guys,
This question is not really following the question, but it fits under this thread... I was wondering if anyone knew what the power consumption of the D945GCLF2 is when its in S3 standby mode? Also, if anyone is running it in S3 standby mode with the M2-ATX PSU?

    Thanks..

Chris (LinITX) would not do that. His reputation is second to none in the UK.

You can have confidence that he is highly recommended at digital-car.co.uk, there is no reason to be suspicious (although I do understand why you might be concerned).
