Personally, the only thing that prevents me from buying one is the fact that it doesn't have the "automatic reboot on power restore" function
It VIA comes up with that in the Bios, I may reconsider.
Until then, I'll stay with my EPIA 800

has anyone tried the software mentioned at the end of the review and if it's good for our purpose?, the screenshot sure looks nice.

If someone want to try it: www.media-box.org

it's opensource too or so it seems.

. . . it doesn't have the "automatic reboot on power restore" function
are you sure? At the bottom of the specs it says: "Wake-on-LAN, Keyboard-Power-on, Timer-Power-on- System power management", isn't this what you mean, the ability to boot-up when power is restored?

Ive just about covinced myself to order one. Just gotta see if my Athlon XP 1600+ sells which i had set aside for this project, before i realized it would take a super powersupply to run.

If/When I get it, ill post some pictures and my own review, and ill find out if it does have that autoreboot on power restore.
