    2.5" adapter

    I just got the 2.5"-3.5" HDD adapter

    the problem is there are 40 pins and the ide cable is 39 pins. now do I cut one of these pins out ??

    LOL - yeah... That's the official "K.I.S.S." solution. If you ARE CAREFUL enough, though, you -can- cut out the key pin from the 2.5" adapter.
