Just an idea. You can use a tablet PC as your main computer and mount it some where on your dash. Of course you would have to buy a craddle or a docking station for it. Then you can attach a crap loads of USB crap to the craddle like radio tuner, DVD ROM, CDRW, DVDRW, ZIP, floppy, 250GB HDD, 6 in 1 memory card reader, extigy, USB to 4 port serial hub, GPS nav, OBD scanner, IRman, IrDA for cell phone for internet, Clifford alarm, wireless KB and mouse and anything you can think of. It's already got a big touch screen. The computer is already built. It's wireless. The big benefit is the Tablet PC is removeable. Take it with you when you get to a hotel and want to watch a DVD movie or something or take it with you if you live in the ghetto. It's like a detachable face radio. You don't have to worry about what PSU to get, which monitor to get, the heat, the cold (unless you gonna leave the PC in the vehicle) people stealling it. The sleep and wake up is super fast like less than a second. At least the one I play with is. The downside that I can think of is the screen is vertical, not bright enough, The whole unit is too big. Other than that, I think its a pretty good idea.
