For the Chrysler's on the board with in glass antenna's....

    AHA!

I may have found why my hd radio box is not getting the reception it should:

Step 5 : Turn on radio, check for 12v at module..........

I've no longer got a "radio", and it appears the 12v to the amplifier (module) is controlled by the radio.

    No radio, no signal amplification.

Please let it be this simple..................

    <batman voice> Multimeter............to the car!

I had the same problem in my Subaru. The antenna amp is powered/signalled by a wire from the radio harness and when I was installing the PC, I thought 'Power Ant.' was for an electric motorised antenna that wasn't fitted to my car. Turns out it was a signal amp and once I hooked it up, the radio was clear as a bell
I installed my carpc into my pet Kangaroo, mate.

Same problem in my MINI COOPER S.
Put in an Kenwood Head Unit and the FM reception when to ZERO.
Stock OE Head Unit was fine as was the Kenwood in another car.
Ended up just feeding the amp a switched +12v from tha back of the Head Unit.
