Amplified headliner TV antenna

What do you guys think about this antenna? I'd like to get the amplified one. Does anyone have any experience with these types of antennas? I'd like to not have to drill any holes or put on any ugly glass mount antennas.

I dunno man, one of those limo-style "V" antennas would look pretty pimp on top of your ride

VHF and UHF.

... and no, no boomerang antenna. I plan on shaving and smoothing a lot of the exterior, but then again the boomerang would be a no regardless.

I just bought one. We'll see how it works!

Oh, do you have a metal or fiberglass roof?
I bought a mag-mount antenna for my police scanner only to find out my roof's fiberglass

Well it looks like I'll have the TM701L in on Monday and I'll have this by then as well by then, so I'll probably post results on Tuesday or Wednesday.
