    Something that simulates one click!

I have a Digital Quad Processor that I use to view all 3 of the cams installed on the car. It has a view were you see the main cam on the screen, then two PIP windows, one on the top left and one on the top right, which show those respective sides. When I first start the car, it goes into this 4 screen view which I dont want. The only way to get it to the view I want is to push the button on the remote. I want to automate this process. What can I do to simulate one single button press and then release and only when power is first applied? I am confused on what I can do acheive this.... Any ideas?

Have a look at some of the solutions for getting a laptop to power on automatically, there are a few threads, as that requires the same system.

OK, I have started to work on this project again. I found this http://www.eleinmec.com/article.asp?4, but what I dont understand is what would I use as the button trigger? A relay? Also on the other end, would I also use a relay to trigger the button. Also I know that when I turn on the car the first relay will lock will this cause any issues for the 555 timer? Will it still only simulate one button press and release the relay on the other end?

OK, I tried to build the thing myself and gave up, lol.... I ordered a built one from Maplin.com. I will simply modify it to do what I want.
