i just recently got an eclipse avn 5500 installed in my truck and ran in to a little bit of a problem. the cd audio navigation everything works all fine. the problem is when i put in a dvd movie it picks up the audio but it doesnt show a video. can some one advise on this. how can i get the video to work.
This forum is for Car Computers, it doesn't cover regular car radios.
But I believe your problem is the radio won't let you watch video while moving. There should be a wire that needs to get ground from the parking brake or E-brake. When that wire is connected and the car is parked you should be able to watch the video.
