Ordered new parts, now I am reconcidering my PSU

I just ordered parts for a new carputer. Here is what I will be using:

    Intel D945GCLF Mini-ITX Motherboard with 1.6 Processor
    M4-ATX 250W Intelligent DC-DC PSU
    1gig mem
    Toshiba 30gig laptop HD
    Laptop DVD ROM
    Lilli 7" screen
    GPS receiver
    7 Port USB Hub

After ordering the M4 from the store, I found a lot of negative posts here about it. I haven't found anyone who is happy with this. I know nothing about intelligent psu. Currently, my setup is based on an HP lappy that is powered by a auto plug and I use an auto power on module. I am a little nervous about the M4 now, and am considering sending it right back.

I have heard wounderful things about the M2 and would consider exchanging the M4 for an M2. My question is: Would the M2 provide enough power for my system? I won't be powering the lilly with the psu.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The M4 is just fine, dont worry. If you treat it nice, it will be ok. Overload it and it takes things down with it.

You are well below the specs for an M4, and actually below spec for an M2 as well. If you already have the M4 coming, return shipping and hastle isnt worth it for a downgrade...

Thanks for your help. I'll try it. How long ago did you get yours? Will I need to mess with any updates for it? What about the usb connection. What does that do for me and do I have to connect it to the mb's free usb?
