Post Engine dies after cd player install...

This afternoon an Aiwa CD player I ordered arrived. This was my first time installing one, and it seemed to go pretty damn good, untill I took it for a drive.
I drove for 2-3 mins and .5-1 mile, then when i came to a stop at light, the engine just died. I stopped at 2 stop signs before this and it was fine. Now everytime i put the clutch in and begin to stop, the engine cuts off. Sometimes (about half the time) it will sputter then idle ok when I first start it. But when i put it in gear and drive, it always cuts off when the clutch goes in. Whats going on?
The battery was disconnected for an hour or so, so the ECU was probably reset, if that makes a difference.

    Thanks.

The car is a 91 Dodge Stealth. (same as a 3000gt if your familiar w/ that).

Reset the ECU again except this time let the car idle for at least 5 minutes before driving it. This is so the ECU can re-learn it's idle settings.

I think its fixed! Now it idles perfectly at 750rpm, but when it returns to idle from say 2-3k rpms, it goes to 600 rpm instead. Its better than dying i guess...
