I was using a 150x card with Linux on an embedded board and it worked pretty good. I was booting Debian with XFCE for GUI and read times were more than adequate.
Has any one used a 300X CF card to boot and install Windows?

I currently use a 4gb lexar 300x udma card with an nlited winxp. It works great, but I'm thinking of selling it because I'd rather not have to use an external drive for music
I use a 1gb 80x ADATA to boot a micro version of server 2003, and that works great. I ended up going the CF route so if my hdd dies, I can still navigate since all that is on the CF.![]()
I have used a Transcend 2GB 266X and Ridata 4GB 233x With great success. But I can't do anything with my Sandisk Ultra II
