I think you should look at your cables & how/where they are run first.
Just curious if anybody knows where I can get some drivers that might help with my audio. I've got the MSI RS482M http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?f...=171&cat3_no=7
I'm getting some "crosstalk" from the onboard audio. It's picking up trash noise while the system is running other processes. When I move the mouse, I get noise that mirrors the movement, etc.
I've read that better drivers can help with this. It's got the realtek ALC655 chip. Anybody know if there's anything similar to the kXProject drivers for the RealTek audio hardware?

On one of my carpc setups I could hear all kinds of strange computer related noises and assumed my built in audio was crappy -- fixed it by using a ground loop isolator.
Yeah, seeking out grounding issues is this weekend's project. But I thought I'd start gathering information regarding other possible issues as well.
Thanks for the ideas.
Any suggestions on the best ground loop isolator for not too much cash? I've got 4 channels of audio to isolate.

I purchased PAC ground loop isolators to fix mine, and they work fine. Not sure which ground loop isolator is the best.
Have you tried grounding your RCA's?
Such a simple thing sorted all of my round issues.
Alright, today was pretty successful. I got my ground loops all sorted out. Everything is properly grounded now.
Still getting alternator whine, but at least the buzzing and popping is gone.
I isolated my alternator whine to being caused by my line drivers. If I removed them from the equation, the alternator whine disappears, my audio just doesn't get as loud as I would like.
I tried every possible grounding work-around, to no avail. These are really cheap $6 line drivers, so I'm not surprised that they're doing this. So I guess now I just need some suggestions on a good quality line driver solution. I don't want to spend over $50 for 4 channels, whatever the solution.
Any suggestions?

Nevermind. I found a Phoenix Gold 6 channel on ebay for $45 shipped, so I went with that one.
