Cannot lock the car before shutdown of computer

    Hello!

(sorry for my english, i'm french)

    I have a annoying problem..
I can't lock my car before the shutdown of XP in my computer.
this one is powered by a 12V -> 220V convertor, and a ATX power supply.
the shutdown of windows Xp is done by a 5V on pin8 of com1. all is ok with this mod.

but I must wait ~30sec before I can close my car..
I don't know where is my problem....

    any ideas?

You mean you cannot lock it with the remote? I have similar problems from time to time. I think it is interference from the car pc with the receiver for the remote.

yes with the remote it doesn't work.
but when I wanna close it with the lock who is inside the car, it works.
do you know what frequency range is used?

I'm sure the problem is from the pc because when I shutdown xp and let's my convertor in power (the atx power supply is always powered but not started), the problem disapears.

The problem is probably radiation from the monitor.

I originally had my monitor switched on via the acc power and had no issues with Locking the car as the monitor lost power as soon as I removed the key from the ignition.

During an upgrade I had the monitor powered via the PC PSU which meant the monitor still had power for about 2 mins after I took the key out, when I tried the lock the car I had issues and sometimes had to go right over the bonnet where the alram module was to get it to alarm.

I have now moved the monitor power back to the acc and have no issues with alarming the car.

    Hello tks for your help.

My monitor is powered directly by the cigaret adaptor (I do not use the connector, but I connected it behind.

I have read that it can make some issues by using cigaret adaptor but when I remove my key, the cigaret adaptor is cut. So my monitor is not powered when I can't close my car.

I think it's iterference, but where?

another time, sorry for my english!

yes, because my screen is powered off when I shutdown the car. (I have a multimeter to control this)
