Shielded antenna cable?

Anyone else have poor frequency problems when using their carputer with Mitch's HD radio cable and the Visteon box?
When I used it without the PC the reception was fine, but through the PC it's bad. (I'm quite sure this is because of PC interference)
I've searched for quality (shielded) antenna cable but found only the regular cables.
Anyone else have reception problems or know where I can get a QUALITY antenna cable?

I bought a super cheapo antenna off ebay just to test my Visteon with while bench testing it in my house and as long as the antenna was near a window the reception was great. Are you sure it is a reception problem or a sound interference problem?

Well I added the rush2112 wire, seemed to help with some noise but did not improve reception by much at all.

Most antennas aren't shielded because I believe that would defeat the purpose of them being an antenna. If you google shielding you are able to find shielding tubes that you can stick wires through. You could run this around a length of the cable so that it doesn't get interference from other cables in certain places.

Hmmm, that does make sense...why shield an antenna cable?
You think that might be the problem...because reception was fine when using the Visteon box without the carPC.

so right now your setup is:
Antenna to visteon to mitch's cable to pc

and when you keep everything in place but disconnect mitch's cable from the pc the radio sounds fine?

I had a HU before, I then got the Visteon and Mitch's cable and removed the HU.
So, before when I ran the HD through my HU AUX port I got many more stations (and clearer) than I do now without the HU. (and running it through the PC)
