Preface - I'm a huge geek so the side should be quite easy, but i'm not too good with my hands.

I've currently got a fancy modded eee 701, 2x Acer Aspire A110's with Linpus (both sealed I was planning on selling them) and an NC10.

I was thinking of a carputer - either with the 701 (as the screen fits perfectly, but i'd rather sell it modded and buy a stock one) or the Acer, but i'd rather use the 701.

I like the idea of a possible rear-view camera, the ODB connector (as my RPM gauge is borked) and a stereo.

I currently have a Proton Wira LXi 2001 with some upgraded front speakers and a new Kenwood headunit - the key issue i've got atm is how I could plug that into the laptop - What could I use?

Also - I would need a touchscreen - Would a standalone unit be better (i want to do this "on the cheap"!) or would a USB 7" touchscreen overlay be better?
