As skeet mentioned depending on your setup, the fusion brain and software can let you control your HVAC. What you need to figure out is how your car interprets the signals it gets from your manual controls. Basically, older cars tend to have simple rheostats and the likes to control the HVAC, while a lot of newer cars use voltage resistor circuits? I believe that's what they're called. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to correct me. Anyways in these newer circuits each manual action correlates to a certain voltage which is sent to the microprocessor it recognizes it and changes accordingly. The older setup is much easier to control via pc while the latter can be a PITA.
