    INSPIRON MINI9 for scanner/scope

    I know that there's a laptop section, but this might be a better place for this question.

    I'm thinking of the Dell INSPIRON MINI9 for a semipermanent carputer. I don't want video/email/internet (hey, I'm old). I just want to use it for obdii software and possibly a PC based scope.

    Seems like it could work, and it runs XP. Can anybody comment on possible issues?

    Hi. I was just curious if you used your mini9 in your car or not? I am thinking about using mine as a full fledged carpc but I haven't found much on the site with people using them. Thanks!
