Pity they're so deep at 254mm. Not all DIN slots would be able to house such a long case.

On mini-ITX.com there is a new case for the EPIA's that look really enticing. Almost looks like the exact height, width, and depth for a single din dash install. It's made by casetronic's, although their website just says coming soon. So now combine this with a screen that would roll up like a garage door (assuming you have a double din area like I do with a 92 maxima) and this could be the ultimate setup. What's your guys thoughts?

Old Systems retired due to new car
New system at design/prototype stage on BeagleBoard.
All we have to do now is wait 2 years for them to hit the UK, or an American supplier to offer them to overseas customers at a same price, and then find a Car Powersupply for them.
What do you reckon, one of them 134 cases.
A Gamecube 5.6" screen
with Ira or IRman, and touch screen (with hidden keyboard)
Slot load DVD, and a fold down button/char LCD panel to look more like a Headunit?
And all the gadgets on USB ports hidden away.

ISTR you planning something similar many moons ago, around the time the first Epia/Eden boards were being announced.Originally posted by ShinkunoNamida

I even had it builtthen my mother stepped on the case
It would be great if you could take this new case and use some sort of rails so you have a removeable computer. That was part of my project.. I didn't get that far, but what I had planned on doing was using IC seats, or IDC sockets to make it a quick in and out process. I never got that far, it would have been a bit daunting a project anyway.
