Hello Ladies and Gents,

New to the Carpc hobby and have some questions about my build!

My Ride
2003 Isuzu Axiom

Main Head unit

Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD

Amps
Pioneer PRS-D4200F

Now the question is to go Mini MAC, or PC. This is where I'm lost, I love my Mac Pro, and I love my PC, But I'm stuck in the middle.

Out of the two, which has the better software availability? Which will last longer in a SUV in the Atlanta Heat (I have AC, just concerned about heat issue). OBD software is it available for both MAC and PC?

I'm also looking for others that have owned a Axiom, would love to pick their brain about the stock radio with the AC controls built in!! (Need to move them)

PC, hands down.

Impossible to answer. Depends on the specs of the PC and the Mac and the method of cooling.

Yeah you'll have a much wider selection of software if you with PC, especially mapping software and the availability of commercial paid-for (ew) frontends.
