Thumbs up Cheap LCD screens while they last

www.bgmicro.com is having a huge sell-out of various lcd screens.. go to their web page, then click on the L.M.A.D buttons (let's make a deal) .. they seem to have pretty much any character display you'd ever want and the prices are great.. they also sell a fluorescent inverter and other modules like the Pic-An-LCD (i have this one ... wrote a driver for mpxf and for damp for it)...

Is this all i need to get an LCD for mine? Just $9.50 for a 20x4 LCD? What is "Non-backlight with Transflective Polarizer"?

Im looking at the 20x4 with:
    Backlight :Non-backlight with Transflective Polarizer
Viewing angle: STN 6 O'clock Yellow
    and Extended Temperature.

    What exactly is all that?

nonbacklight means there's no back light (they have EL and LED backlights too)
i dont know about the xflective polarizer but in general, a polarizer will allow light to pass only at a certain angle .. this has the benefits of reducing glare and such ... i dont know how it applies in LCD's.. and the 6oclock thing has to do w/ angle of visiblity (i think .. but i'm not sure) .. u can just give them a call.. they'll probably be able to explain everything.
