    Sound question

If someone is using the voom pc case which doesnt grant much space for pci soundblasters and such, how does one get better sound to their 4 channel amp? I hear splitters from onboard sound tear the quality up..

I went the cheap route myself the first time around. I was very unhappy with the sound quality.
