Thread: Nilok Qube - USB IO, Bluetooth, ALMOST DONE!

Hey guys,

I got a new picture today of the circuit board in the enclosure. It shows what the final product will look like (minus the horrible job my buddy did with the solder paste!).

This morning, I got the final circuit boards in the mail, 40 of them! I was so excited that I wrote a pretty lengthy post about it in my blog. I explain the quality of the Seeed Studio boards and describe a few small details. Take a look!

Ladies and Gentleman, the QUBE

I wrote out a huge post about this at my blog, complete with like 10 pictures of the whole process from blank circuit boards -> solder paste -> toaster oven reflow -> working product.

The final ones will be in black.

I was incredibly excited when I got this thing to finally work. Months and months of work are finally ready!

Well, its the new year! I forgot to make any recent posts about this here at mp3car since the project has been going SO well!

I have successfully make about 15 Qubes so far, and I have a few more to put together to finish the first official run of 20! I have received a few very generous donations / pre-orders to help this project along. Luckily, it is almost done!
