    Remote Control or Hardware Hotkeys

basically im looking for simple controls for volume and play/pause/next/back

using RR dfx4, vista pc going through a regular headunit.

ideally, i would find a credit-card sized remote that has big easy buttons to mash, and is also learning-programmable. that way i could program in media center functions and also my headunit's volume control. but if there is just a good small media center remote that would work too as it can control volume with winamp in a pinch.

my other option is to install 6 buttons into my armrest- play and pause, back, forward, vol-,vol+, mute. i dont have a lot of ideas to do this easily. just hack up a keyboard or buy a usb controller?

    thoughts?

Buy an i-pac controller. It is programmable, USB and emulates a keyboard press when you wire a button to it.

you can use an Xbox or PS controller, works gret, very customizable, and small, it can fit virtually anywhere.
