    Rough Monday morning, help me out with something stupid

    What are those DVD (and technically CD) drives called where the drive door doesn't open it just "sucks" in the disk like most vehicle CD/DVD players? Are they available for PC?

    slot load and yes they are available

    Desktops and laptops can use a slot load. They are viewed as desirable in the car environment as well.
