Well, I've gotten a visteon HD radio hooked up to my carpc with mitches cable. I get audio and am able to tune to stations, but I get really bad reception. NO RDS, memory presets do not save....what gives..

I have a 2006 Nissan maxima. I took the stock radio out. Does the stock antenna need some sort of power?
am i doing something wrong?
