Hmmm....come on, don't be shy, any answer is better than non...except flames :P
can anyone give me an idea on how much wire I should be looking to buy? what kind? connecters? etc...
Thanks

I have almost all the parts now for my first system;
old desktop computer
cpu: amd 500mhz
ram: 128mb generic
storage: 10gig hd
sound: philips acoustic edge
video: nvidia mx-420 video card with composite video out
display: tm-701L
control: logitech trackball
waiting for arise dc-dc psu
Now my question is I have it all up and running here on the floor, but what are the parts I need for installing into my car?
I know I'll need wires, fuses, relays (for remote start of system?)
Can anyone give me a shopping list of what wires, fuses and other parts I'll need to install?
I'm thinking the display will go in my dash, system in the rear, with the tackball up front.
Thanks

edit: forgot to mention my current stereo doesn't work so I picked up a cheap amp pioneer gm-800, kinda old but just want to power power the speakers not blow out my windows
It's 4 channel so I think it should work ok. The way I see it in my head the car battery will hook up to the carputer, carputer to the display, amp, and trackball, with the amp connected to the speakers...does this sound right?
thanks again

k, found some links on installing amps, I think it should be helpful for those that don't know where to start like me.
I'm kinda busy at work, plus I haven't received my dc-dc psu yet so I probably won't be able to get to it till this weekend, but here are the links:
