    Internal Laptop Camera

    Is it possible to take a internal laptop webcam and put it into a desktop pc. ive been searching around and havent been able to see anything.. Im looking to keep the camera nice and small and dont want anyone to really notice it.

    it would probably be possible, i would image that laptop webcams use a usb protocal. if you have a flat panel lcd monitor i see no reason why you couldnt modify it to have a webcam.

    Yeah it should work. I'm the process of taking a camera from a broken laptop and using it for my carpc install.

    sweet let me know how it goes that_kid, im hopeing to use one from a hp laptop. im going to be ordering one in a couple days. ill let you know how mine goes along also
