Thats it, im not buying a Prelude... that dash is ugly IMHO.
Since its an indash, you might have to try to sell it as a lot, otherwise that funny looking empty space is going to turn people off.
Try to milk them for it tho![]()

Some people like the dash, some don't.
The rumor was the Honda wanted to bring the passanger more into the driving expierience. They have always used the Prelude as a testing platform for new inventions.
VTEC was on the Prelude tested.
And 4WD steering.
And this dash.
The 5th gen. went back to the regular dash look.
That so called empty spot where my 8.4" Touchscreen is.... I have the stock plastic and ashtray, and cigarette lighter and everything I need to make it look stock again.
If my passenger(s) want in on the driving... she/he can ask me how fast im going :POriginally posted by LESLIEx317537

God that dash is nasty....
Ok n/m then, I was thinking you had to dremel some out, but if you can just put the ashtray back in, you could sell the system or take it out.
is that what a prelude dash looks like?![]()
anyway if the buyer is willing to shell a few benjamins then sell him the carputer. then you can get to work on a new one.
Mine needs to be updated.
nice looks like you have some 18's, oz supperleggra like rims. probably a cup kit drop about 1.5-1.75 inches. and clear from and back lenses. 20% black tint?
sell the carputer, work on a better new one![]()

I'm going to start a thread for my car in the proper section once I gather some new pictures.![]()
I always figured that before I would sell my system with the car I would have to have something that looks as close to oem as possible. Then I would have to provide some sort of recovery CD to the owner in case the system gets hosed, that way they don't have to find some nerd to figure out how to build up the os for a car application
