Post SB Value Digital I/O Board???

Ok, theres a Sound Blaster addon for the Live series(Live, Value, etc) that allows for dig. out, and rca jacks. Heres a link of the only place so far ive seen that sells it, and its used... http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=205-4660C
Let me know if this is worth the money or if anyone has this, or had tried it. Right now im just using a RCA cable coming from the deck and when it gets to the comp i got an adapter which turns the R/L RCA into a stereo connection that plugs into the sound card.

The RCA jacks on that card are for SPDIF-in and SPDIF-out. In other words, digital in, digital out. NOT analog audio out. So it's pretty much useless if you just want to hook it up to a head unit or an amp...

alot of top line headunits or amps or 5.1 processors have digital inputs it allows u to carry tons of channels with 1 rca cable, ive seen ppl do front, rear, center, sub with 1 cable.

sony makes a great deck with digital in and ouput its pricy but great , sherwood makes a 5.1 decoder with digital input.
