Mac Mini + Antec Veris Multimedia Station

Will this work?

i would really like to put this in my car a long with my mac mini but i would like to make sure it works first...

the only problem i see is the connection that it says gets hooked up to the mobo.. is there another way i could connect that?

also my mac mini has win 7

i tried a similar version a while back, and i hated it-- the controls were slow, and the setup disk had a bunch of bloatware that was required to get it to work...

you should be able to make it work though-- the usb cable should plug right in, the hardest part will be powering it-- i think you need both a 12v and 5v line going to it.

doesn't the mac mini take a 19v power supply?

the cartnetix psu tho will give me a 12v and a 5v line tho so i should be ok with that

see i would like a set of buttons / volume nob liek that which is why i want

sorry, i don't like any OS-software based options-- they are all to slow for me and my loud music, esp. the volume knob(i try to turn it down at stoplights)...

if it has the features your looking for then it should be fine, just remember that it is still software based, so it might not be very fast...
