XM Sat Radio for your carputer

Any new news on the communication protocol with the xmpcr. I'd love to incorporate basic player functionality into my frontend for it.

I already have my FM Tuner card using the Line-In on my sound card. Anyone have any ideas on how to add a second line-in?

Of course, I could just share the Line in since they can each be controlled via separate USB ports.

Don't suppose anyone knows if these XM sat radios work in places other than in the US?

I've heard of them, but don't know much about them.

No skraggy...XM won't work anywhere else. Maybe in Canada...not to far north though.

Fair enough, just wondered wether the XM nits used some kind of generic Sat radio frequencies, that were similar, or the same as those use by the Sky/Astra satellites for Radio over Europe.
