    KDS LCDs

I have been building a new car computer in my car. The problem is I can't decide what LCD to use. I used a 5.6 inch before and was not happy with the results. I could not read the streets on my gps or anything. I am thinking about putting in a KDS Rad-5 lcd monitor in my car. The only thing that I need to know is if an opus power supply could spare the 12v 4.16Amps that the LCD Requires. If not how could I build a 12v regulator to use for the line??

well as long as youre using composite video output from a pc youre never going to get good crisp results that you probably desire
vga or dvi is the only thing that can really offer this

youre pushing the limit of the Opus as the 12v line can only supply 5 amps.

It seems to be australian $$. under $600 US. Everything I have seen on this forum is in the same price range for less real estate.

Yes, and oddly enough, you should be able to get a 10.4 for cheaper than 600
