Question about power and inverters and all that

Goal is an MP3 carputer, eventually GPS. Not really into the movie part.

Going to be running an EPIA 800, mini-ITX case with 55W and AC adapter, (http://www.caseoutlet.com/case/2699/CS-2699.html), 256 MB, 20 GB drive. Datalux LMV10R 10.4 Touchscreen, LP104V1 with power supply. Car is a 2002 Focus, plan is under the passenger seat.

Questions: I'm clueless on the power stuff, even after a night of reading here. Will I need additional power for that? What is the best way to get power to the LCD and computer? Will I need an inverter for the monitor, and if so, what does that do and how much will it run me?

I tried searching for the answers, but knowing squat about electronics didn't help

you'll need a few things for the screen.. a vga controller, and a inverter, a hirose cable to connect them.. a touch controller for the touch overlay (if this stuff isn't included in your purchase)

the inverter can be powered off your psu.. you should be able to run everything off that psu.

I've been using that case under my seat.. fits nice and snug, I'm happy with the results.

I'm currently debating modifying my dash to house a 10.4" screen.

mp3car system is currently FUBAR and finances do not allow for a correction of that situation
