    subwoofer vibrations and motherboard

    would a loud subwoofer system vibrate thar carputer too much? what can be done about this?

    im curious about this too. i drive an f-150. i have 2 10 inch subs right behind my seat. when i turn up my stereo the entire vehicle vibrates. EVERYTHING. even the side view mirrors. so there is no really safe place to put a carputer. i havent started installing anything in the truck yet so i havent been able to do any experimants or anything yet. any one have any problems?

    no.....they only moving part is the hard drive.....just get a laptop drive if your worried about it. I am pretty sure a lot of people here use regular 3.5" hd with no problems

    what about 4 15's? over 150's db's?

    I have my comp between 2 12" subs and no problems so far

    there is a big difference in 150 db's and 135 db's

    how often are you driving around using your comptuer while listening to music at 150db though? The only thing id be worried about is having the computer to close to the subs magnet. Im sure 15"s have massive magnets in them
