Intel DQ45EK MB and USB Standby Power issue

I have an Intel DQ45EK motherboard and would like to know is anyone has come across an issue there USB devices remain powered when the motherboard goes to sleep. This means that by USB Radio, USB OBDII, USB GPS, USB CarPC JoyCon, USB 5.1 Audio, USB TouchScreen and the list goes on, all remain powered when the motherboard is asleep. There is no reason I can see that these devices need power and I can not find a BIOS or Windows option to make the USB ports power down when asleep. I originally notices this when I had a USB hard drive connected and noticed it was still spinning even though the motherboard was asleep. Has anyone come across this before?

I have the same problem, only worse. The items plugged into the USB ports on the back of my computer stay on when the computer is turned off and the key is removed from the ignition. The ones that are plugged into the motherboard turn off. Unfortunately, I don't want any of them on and there aren't enough ports on the board to plug everything into. I have found no BIOS setting that will shut these off when the computer shuts down.

Problem solved for me. There were jumpers on the motherboard (Asus) called USB wake-up jumpers. Once moved to the correct position, the USB ports went off with the computer! I don't know if they go off when the computer sleeps because I haven't gotten the computer to sleep yet. That's next.

    Hope this helps someone.

Unfortunately the Intel DQ45EK does not have such a jumper and not bios settings.
