Thread: Tell me what you think (+ looking 4 a pcmcia sound card)

I have a P166, with 16 mb of RAM, 3.4Gb Hard Drive, win95, winamp and irman running in my car. I use an allelec $89.99 display. Nothing special about that. But I was thinking about using it as a linux box and as file sever on my home network.
I have an old p100 toshiba laptop, with 800mb hard drive, and 40mb of RAM. I was thinking about using it as my mp3 box. I could use an exteranl hard drive. For the sound an video, I was thinking about adding a pcmcia sound card, a pcmcia video card or something like that to a display like the one on <a href="http://www.partsexpress.com/sites/PartsEx/CyberVendor.dll/option?CartSize=0&Type=product&Key=205-050&HTMLFILENAME=">partsexpress.com</a>. The thing is that I don't know what these things cost, that I can't find a pcmcia sound card anywhere, and was wondering what kind of video card I needed.
Can anybody help?
