Chinese 'no name' 2 din -DVD, TV, Bluetooth, Radio, Ipod optional

    hello

I am Max and I am new to your forum.
I have Chinese 'no name' 7" double din player that support -DVD, TV, Bluetooth, Ipod, Radio, (with optional GPS function on the meny)

Everytime I press GPS i get message NO GPS.

I am interested to know if there is any third party firmware for my double din because the current menu is very ugly.

Please let me know what else you need to know since on the box there are no information

it is exactly the same like this one from the link

The key word here is OPTIONAL GPS.
    You don't have that option.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

proabably not. cheap dvd units are cheap for a reason, and good interfaces are not cheap..

actually, do any dd dvd/nav units provide support changing anything more then the background, and text color(i thought that the pioneer avic series supported different backgrounds, and text/icon color changes, is there a brand that does more)?...

Most of these are split systems. A basic menu for access to the included hardware (AM/FM, TV, DVD etc) and if you have the navigation option, some type of Nav software running on WinCE. As mentioned, the menu is in firmware and probably not accessible. Depending upon the system, you may be able to mod the look and feel of the WinCE side quite a bit. GPSUnderground used to be a pretty good forum for that kind of stuff.

I had one of these, but I sold it because the graphics where very 1st grade-ish. Mine was also the one with "optional gps"......yeah, there was no option for it. The sd card slot where the maps card would go was sealed and there was no gps antenna jack on the back of the unit.

If by some off chance you do have the gps hardware, you can access the windows ce portion of the unit. It is done thru the sd slot for the gps. I had searched this option just before getting rid of mine. If you have it, search gpspassion.com. If you dont, your SOL.

I have the same like you, the SD CARD slot for maps card is sealed and there is no gps antenna jack on the back.
So the final decision is sale.
Bye and thank you all for sharing your knowledge and time.
