It does not. For now, I will use an FM radio dongle... it works pretty good. Since I am in a soft top, I cant really tell the difference in quality anyhow. But later I would either do the PIX method.. that one that uses the CD changer harness. Its like 80 bucks or something and really unneeded for me right now but the option is there.

Personally I vote A. I had my lcd half way in between [where your radio is] and i HATED looking "down" at it, so i would imagine looking even farther down would be even worse. my thought is to keep it as high as I can and keep my eyes on the road, so I'm moving mine up as soon as possible

Well, I got my 629 last night. And as you can see, Location B seems to work for me as of right now. I agree that having to glance that far down can be dangerous and annoying. However, Its more likely that this is a temporary solution for this vehicle. I think being it is a Jeep, an old school Character LCD and number keypad solution would be fine. Right now the main goal is to work out the software/hardware kinks so that I can set it up in a Mini-van or SUV or whatever we get next.
With everyones help here, I think I am back up to speed with what is going on in the MP3Car world again. And boy has it changed! Its SOOOOO much easier than it once was.
Some of you guys out there like me, started this stuff when LCD screens weren't even invented yet. they were just a pretty kewl idea once seen on star trek. HAH! Look where we are now? More pics to come soon with the install and visuals.
