Thread: Power switch on my soon to be carputer

hello,

well here's the deal...i riped the computer parts out of my emachine case it's a 366 mhz cyrx not bad for playing mp3s right now...(i have a amd500 chip just need to get a mobo for it but anyway, like many computers the e-machine came w/ a front mounted push button on/off switch which plugs into the mobo, it's verry short so i don't see a way of mounting the computer in my trunk and being able to turn it on...if i buy another power supply w/ the switch on the supply would i be able to get rid of the push button type of switch? thanks
